1. Introduction & Acceptance
Welcome to Song Spirit ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Song Spirit mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Song Spirit is a mobile application that creates personalized affirmation songs using artificial intelligence. Users provide personal context — such as name, goals, stressors, and music preferences — and receive AI-generated songs with synchronized lyrics designed for daily listening and singing along.
3. AI-Generated Content Disclosure
We use AI to craft personalized affirmation songs based on your responses. All songs, lyrics, and musical content delivered through the Service are generated by artificial intelligence. This content is created algorithmically and is not composed, performed, or endorsed by human artists.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that:
- Song content is generated by AI and may not always be perfect or appropriate for every situation.
- Songs are intended for personal wellness and are not a substitute for professional mental health care.
- AI-generated content may occasionally produce unexpected or imperfect results.
4. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you may create an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
Age requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use Song Spirit. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the Service.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models or algorithms.
- Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit generated songs without authorization.
- Use the Service to generate content that is harmful, hateful, or harassing.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.
6. Content Ownership & Licensing
Songs generated by the Service are created for your personal, non-commercial use. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to listen to, save, and share your generated songs for personal purposes.
You retain ownership of the personal information you provide (name, goals, stressors, preferences). We retain ownership of the AI models, algorithms, and underlying technology used to generate content.
7. Content Moderation
We employ AI-based content filtering to ensure generated songs remain positive, appropriate, and aligned with the Service's wellness purpose. We reserve the right to:
- Filter or modify generated content that violates our content guidelines.
- Remove content that is reported as inappropriate.
- Suspend accounts that repeatedly attempt to generate inappropriate content.

8. Subscriptions & Payments
Free Tier
Song Spirit offers a free tier that includes up to 5 songs per day, lyrics synchronization, and streak tracking.
Premium Subscription
Premium features are available through a subscription with the following plans:
- Monthly: $4.99 per month
- Annual: $29.99 per year (save 50%)
All new premium subscriptions include a 3-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically renew at the applicable rate.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
9. DMCA Safe Harbor
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe any content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA takedown notice to support@ionjolt.com with:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- A description of the infringing material and its location in the Service.
- Your contact information.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Song Spirit is not a mental health service. The affirmation songs are designed for general wellness purposes and are not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or medical treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Song Spirit and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the app or on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
